About Foresight-625
Ambitious for the work.
Thoughtful about people.
Foresight-625 grew from international experience in fire and rescue, emergency medicine and humanitarian response. Work with a clear purpose: protect life, relieve suffering and help people.

Professional experience, shared through teaching and practice.
Our team draws on fire and rescue officers, doctors, paramedics and humanitarian professionals. Their experience includes taking responsibility for urgent decisions, coordinating specialist teams and developing others across organisations and countries.
The purpose of that work is to help and protect people. Foresight brings the same concern for achievement and human wellbeing into business, academia and the third sector.
Our starting point
How you achieve it matters.
People in these settings make consequential decisions, coordinate across disciplines and act under pressure. The purpose of the work places care for others at its centre.
Foresight applies that experience to organisational life: understand the situation, decide what needs to happen and choose how to work together. High expectations and professional accountability sit alongside trust, consent and cooperation.
Principles you can see in practice.
Shared purpose
Help people understand what the work is for, what is expected and how their contribution matters.
Voice & judgement
Listen to expertise, welcome questions and make it possible to raise concerns. Responsibility includes being willing to hear what changes a decision.
Care & accountability
Address difficult issues fairly. Pay attention to how results are achieved and whether the work can be sustained.
Civilian experience.
Modern organisational practice.
Our approach is distinct from military and policing models whose authority can include force. In Foresight, people consent to command only because they trust and believe in both the person and the system. That trust is earned through everyday management. Command cannot be used too often or for too long, and consent can be withdrawn at any time for any reason.
That principle extends beyond command: into a briefing, a performance conversation, a team decision and the way an organisation responds when people are stretched.
For people doing important work.
Our work spans commercial teams, universities and research programmes, public services, NGOs and humanitarian organisations. Courses, coaching and consultancy can each stand alone or work together.
The people behind the work
Experience of carrying
the responsibility.
Our coaches and facilitators come from fire and rescue, emergency medicine and humanitarian work. Their experience includes operational leadership, organisational management, international development and building the capability of others.
They bring that experience into teaching, coaching and consultancy through discussion, exercises and work on real professional challenges. The focus is on methods that help people make sense of their own responsibilities and circumstances.
